Northwest Crossing Sales Soaring

Homes are selling like hot cakes in Northwest Crossing on Bend's west side.  Prices are up 5% over last year at this time.  A couple of interesting trends is the average price on sales and the average square footage.

The average sales price is down by $19,000.  However, the average price per square foot is up $10.55 or 5%.  The average size of the homes sold are 1,918 square feet this past year verus 2,086 square feet the prior year.

There were 90 homes sold in Northwest Crossing within the last 12 months as compared to 64 homes the year before. So there are more homes being sold.  The homes sold are getting smaller and the prices are going up.

Here's an amazing statistic.  If you have read this far you must like statistics.  Out of the 90 homes sold last year 50 of those homes were new construction!  The smallest home sold was on Mt. Washington Dr. (busy street).  It was 647 square feet and sold for $199,900.  It was one bedroom and one bath.
