Restaurants

One of the many reasons people are moving to Bend is the restaurants.  There seem to be restaurants popping up every where you turn.  I've lived in Bend since 1981 and thought we had hit the big time when we had 2 McDonald's.

My wife, Connie and I had Sunday lunch on the patio overlooking the Deschutes River at Greg's Grill in the Old Mill District.  The weather was 80 degrees with a very slight breeze.  We got there at 11:30 and there was a good choice of tables. 

Our waiter Tim was very efficient and helpful.  The food was excellent and Kirby the manager treated us to a free desert as it was our wedding anniversary.  There are many restaurants in Bend but it's hard to beat Greg's Grill.  Especially on a nice summer day on the Deschutes River.
