Bend Oregon - Freddie Mac reported that fixed-rate, 30 year mortgages dipped to 5.93% last week.  These are great interest rates and you can count on them to head back up when this market bottoms out.  I'm predicting we will see the bottom next year sometime, possibly in the spring.

Now is a great time to buy!  There are hundreds of homes to choose from and some really great prices available.  In most instances you can buy an existing home for less money than it would take to build a comparable home.  In ten years we are all going to look back and wish we had bought more real estate in this market.
